The Penn State Alumni Association

What’s been happening:

After graduation from Penn State, I received my MA in Museum Science from Texas Tech University, and then worked for the Navajo Nation in Arizona for 13 years as the Director-Curator of the Navajo Nation Museum. In 1990, I accepted a position at the California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco, where I am still employed. I met my partner, Joseph Wilson, in 1995 and we now live south of San Francisco, just 1.5 miles from the ocean. I am active in the Gay & Lesbian Sierrans, a section of the national Sierra Club, and regularly lead hikes and participate in habitat restoration projects. At home, I enjoy gardening and cooking, especially baking. Joseph and I enjoy traveling everywhere, usually combining trips with hiking opportunities (especially in national parks) and visiting friends. Canada is one of our favorite places, but we've also been to Europe several times and to China.
